Pilates Studio FAQs

How do I schedule Private Sessions?

Contact Jamie Beard at jbeard@flyinghorseclub.com to schedule private sessions. We offer individual private sessions, duo sessions and trio sessions. We will find a time that accommodates you working around the Studio schedule.

Any new client to our studio is required to take 3 private sessions with one of our instructors prior to attending an existing group class. The exception to this is when we offer a beginner group class.  This is for our team to teach you the basic concepts of Pilates and ensure your safety when using our equipment.

How do I schedule group classes? Through Mind Body for all online scheduling for group Pilates Classes.

What? On-line scheduling through Mind Body Software is required for any Pilates group class sign up.

Why? So that Members and Instructors can easily access the schedule sign up for classes 24 hours per day and preview any and all available openings at their convenience as well as change their reserved classes due to a personal change of schedule as long as it falls within designated cancellation policy (see policy guidelines below).

When? Available as soon as you follow the directions below for the app and you arrange with Jamie via email what package and payment options you will be participating in.

How? Follow the 2 easy steps detailed below to access mind body software and The Pilates Studio class schedule and sign up for classes at your convenience.

Step 1: Obtain the Free Client MindBody Software by downloading the client MindBody app on your smartphone or computer.

For App: MindBody Connect

Computer: https://www.mindbodyonline.com/connect

Step 2: Press either to continue using Facebook or email in order to create a log-in name, passcode, and set up your personal profile under The Pilates Studio at Flying Horse. The best way to do it is to enter your email to create your account.

Once you create your profile you will have access from your phone and/or computer to access our group class schedule.

Do I have to use the on-line scheduling for group classes?

- If you are an existing Pilates Member in that you are already scheduled and taking classes at The Pilates Studio than Yes, you must use the online scheduling through Mind Body in order to reserve your spots in class.

- If you are new to Pilates at The Club,  you must schedule for 3-Private sessions with one of our Instructors by contacting Jamie at jbeard@flyinghorseclub.com in order to join

the Studio.

- If you have done Pilates in the past but are new to the Club at Flying Horse Studio, please contact Jamie at jbeard@flyinghorseclub.com.

When can I sign up for group classes to ensure I get the class days and times that I prefer?

The 27th of every month will start the access for class sign-ups for the upcoming month. For example, on June 27th you may access your account and sign up for your 4-week Pilates classes for July (depending upon the package you are signed up for). For example, if you are signed up for 8 days per month you may book 8 sessions in that month.

What is the cancellation policy for group classes?

If you reserve a spot in a group class, you must cancel within 12 hours of the class beginning in order to avoid it counting as one of your paid Pilates classes within that month.

Example: If you are signed up for attending classes 12 times per month and you register for class on Monday at 8:30am you must cancel your spot by 8:30pm the night before class. If it is not cancelled within the 12 hours, it will take up one of your classes permitted for that week and you will have one less class to attend within that month.

To cancel your spot, please log into your account and delete your name from the class roster in which you originally signed up for 12 hours prior to the start of the class time.

A $10.00 late fee will be charged for any late cancellations.

What is the cancellation policy with Mind Body Scheduling for private sessions?

If you reserve a private session on line with an Instructor, you must cancel with at least 24-hour notice in order to avoid being charged for the session.

A late fee of 50% of the session will be charged for any late cancellations for private sessions.

Can I drop into a class when I am at The Club without signing into Mind Body Software?

This question requires 2 answers.

  1. Yes… if you sign in at least 30 minutes prior to the start time of each class.

  2. No.  All Members/Guests must be pre-registered for class through the mind body software scheduling. The registration online will remain open until 30 minutes prior to each group class. It will then be closed. This allows our instructors to always know who will be attending their class 30 minutes prior to each class. There will be NO drop ins for Pilates classes unless you log yourself in and sign up PRIOR to the 30-minute time frame. All drop in’s MUST be registered prior to the 30-minute time frame of class starting. The instructors will not permit anyone else into the class after that 30-minute window prior to class starting.

Am I able to make up classes if I am signed up for the monthly Pilates by choice option?

Most of our Members/Guests take advantage of the cost-effective choice of our monthly Pilates by Choice options of either 4 days/ 8 days/12 days or 16 days  per calendar month. Once you are registered for your desired Pilates package, the system will be tracking you by your name.

Example…. If you are signed up for 8 classes per month the system will let you register for your 8 classes per week on a monthly cycle. The system will lock you out after you have signed up for your 8 classes per month. If you need to change a day that you registered for class i.e. ( if you are sick, have an appt, etc) you will be able to take your name off the roster (must be done within 12 hours of the class start time) and you will be able to register for a different class within that same calendar month.

Do I pay for my classes through Mind Body?

No, whether you are a Member or Gues, payment does not go through the Mind Body software.   Any Member of The Club will be billed on their monthly Member statement. Any Guest can pay The Club through Jamie via credit card or personal check.

Please disregard any payment options through MindBody.

Can I bring a family member or friend to Pilates Classes?

Yes, we love family and friends. You must contact Jamie Beard at jbeard@flyinghorseclub.com in order to arrange for a guest to attend a Pilates class with you as long as there is space available and they are able to perform the exercises without modifications.

Jamie will assist in logging your guest into the Mind Body system and arrange necessary payment.

Please contact Jamie at jbeard@flyinghorseclub.com for any questions.
